On February 1, 1995, RE/MAX Team Realty officially became part of the RE/MAX organization. Our growth over the years has included a move to a new office building in 1997 plus two office expansions to accommodate increased staff and real estate agents.

   The RE/MAX slogan, "It's the Experience!" certainly applies to RE/MAX Team Realty. Our 22 agents represent approximately 2 1/2 centuries combined years in real estate plus almost 50 combined years for the 4 members of the support staff!

Broker/Owner Ronnie Ward

   Giving to the community has always been a prime concern for Broker/Owner Ronnie Ward. RE/MAX Team Realty is involved in many community projects through out the year.

   For several years, RE/MAX Team Realty has been a Corporate Sponsor of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life; a 2 day event held each June. Participants set up creative campsites, collect donations and walk all night for this worthy cause. It is Eliz Grannis, a member of RE/MAX Team Realty and chairperson for corporate sponsors, who challenges local corporations and businesses to assist in raising money for the American Cancer Society. Promising to dye her hair purple (the signature color for Relay) if she attains her goal, Eliz has happily spent the last few years with purple hair! In 2005, Eliz exceeded her goal and collected over $30,000 from local businesses for the American Cancer Society.

   During the last couple of years, RE/MAX Team Realty has proudly supported our local division of the National Guard. To help bring the troops home for leave RE/MAX Team Realty donated several Kuntzler prints that were raffled off to defray travel expenses for the troops. For the Christmas season in 2004, the members of RE/MAX Team Realty combined their resources and provided enough goodies to create over 40 care packages to the National Guard troops in Iraq.

   Since 1995 RE/MAX Team Realty has been an annual sponsor of Doo Dah Day. This fun-filled community event is held each April to benefit the Child Parent Center, an organization that works with families to wipe out child abuse. The office reserves the huge RE/MAX hot air balloon, offering free tethered balloon rides to parents and their children. Through out the day, office personnel hand out thousands of red, white and blue balloons to everyone that passes through the gates.

In addition we subscribe to MRIS (Metropolitan Regional Information Systems, Inc), a system that is available in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Washington, DC and Pennsylvania.

   As a RE/MAX member firm, we frequently get referrals from prospective purchasers moving to the area from over 64,000 other RE/MAX agents in the RE/MAX network. We also utilize the RE/MAX network when an outbound local client needs assistance to move to another area.

   Our agents have access to the latest computer technology and receive continual training as well as instruction in effective marketing strategies through the RE/MAX satellite television network.

   All our agents are experienced, full-time professionals, averaging over ten years experience per agent. Several have advanced designations form the National Association of REALTORS and have specialized knowledge in construction, land development, buyer representation and commercial property, just to name a few.
